I specialize in hand-cut coin jewelry. My cut coins are some of the finest and most detailed anywhere in the world. Using drill bits as small as .34mm and saw blades as thin as .15mm, I meticulously drill and cut actual U.S. and world coins into beautiful works of wearable art. I often pair my coins with recycled sterling silver or reclaimed industrial copper and brass components.
As a second generation craftsman growing up in a family of jewelers, I began my silversmithing journey as a child. As soon as I was old enough to handle the jeweler's saw, I was taught to work with coins by cutting Abe Lincoln out of old copper pennies. The history and significance of coins, and the way they connect people has always fascinated me.
