Wood Burned Art Wall Hangings.
Wood Burned art done freehand. No two pieces are alike. These pieces are used as wall hangings and range in size from a few inches to 10 feet long.
My tool is an electric wood burning pen with which I draw directly on sanded, unfinished boards of various sizes and types of wood. Each piece is made freehand. When completed, a lacquer finish is applied to all sides. These pieces are intended for indoor wall decor
I am an artist who enjoys doing pyrography. I began in 2006 and have done many juried arts and crafts shows since then. I enjoy using a variety of types of wood and allowing the knots, natural grain and corations in the wood to be seen as part of the scene of the finished piece.
The wood has something to say. I want to enhance that message.
