I joyfully design and create one of a kind and limited series of artisan jewelry.
Using hammers, stakes and other small hand tools, I work primarily with Argentium & traditional Sterling silver. 18K gold accents and handmade chain are features in many of my designs.
I count on my husband to cut and polish our selected semi - precious rough and slabs in our Lapidary studio, as well.
Having the freedom to design the look of our own stones allows for a great deal on personal expression.
I create my jewelry for people to wear frequently, not just for special occasions only.

Kathleen’s materials of choice primarily include Argentum and Sterling Silver, sometimes accented with fine gold.  Unusual stones, rich texture, organic shapes, ancient methods and techniques, are all very much evident in much of her work. Her preference is the look of a soft, hand-finished piece with the feel of antiquity and maybe the surprise of a contemporary element or a found object.
