I create fine art prints with a printer, mat, and frame, my work myself, some in vintage frames I have reconditioned, making unique pieces, others in gallery frames. I print in three sizes and mounted in archival mats, and have cards printed. I use high quality Canon ink and paper, and archival mats. My print editions are limited. I am also the author of three collections of photographs and short essays.
I sell my books and photography, including on cards, at shows and online.
I approach nature from below, highlighting the rich detail that surrounds us, much of it hidden and overlooked. I aspire to do the same with my own experience of nature, expressing the feelings of joy, longing, and sensual delight that come with the seasons and the mood or smell of a particular day. I manipulate my digital photographs to express what I see and feel, rather than the camera.
