Coastal art co specializes in creating one-of-a-kind mosaic pebble art pieces with custom barn and repurposed wood frames. We are located in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Our pebble art is made by hand, using a variety of carefully selected beach stones and pebbles to create unique and intricate designs. Each piece is carefully crafted to capture the beauty and essence of the coast. Our wood frames are made from reclaimed wood sourced from local barns and structures, adding a rustic and authentic touch to each piece. These frames are carefully crafted and finished by hand to complement the pebble art within.
My husband and I work as a Team from our home in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. I create the pebble art and he make the repurposed wood frames. My husband works full time as an environmental geologist and I retired from my corporate position at Idexx Laboratories a year and half ago to focus on my art work. I also do part time freelance work for Idexx and others, creating video learning videos. My husband is 62 and I am 55. We have three adult children that live in Denver and North Carolina.
In 2023 we did shows in Maine (Ogunquit, Freeport Fall Festival, and Hampton and Durham, NH). We enjoyed the experience very much and got such wonderful feedback from people on our artwork.
We want to expand this year with more, diverse shows and Castleberry Fairs seem like a perfect match!
