Using acrylic and oil paints, I strive to capture the patterns, shapes, and essence of the land and seascapes in my work. I enjoy the process of creating brushstrokes and building up textures within my paintings.
My name is Carolyn Mulvey, a fine artist working and living in Massachusetts. I enjoy capturing New England’s ever-changing seascapes and landscapes and bringing the joy of nature into the homes of my clients. My paintings tend to lean towards an impressionistic style. I am drawn to the light and dark shapes of the landscapes and the unexpected spots of color that pop up quickly. I enjoy capturing movement through texture, brush strokes, and color.
