I grew up primarily in New England. Each stage of my life I have found myself chasing all of the beautiful places and scenery that New England has to offer. From exploring the backroads of Middlesex County, to hiking trails of New Hampshire, to the coastal drives along the North Shore, Maine, and all the way up to Nova Scotia. In recent years, I have spent more of my free time exploring and capturing elements of my favorite coastal places in photographs. I take those memories home to paint. My paintings are recollections of impressionable memories from working on the water or exploring the Northeast Coast. I often use bold colors, colors of nature to provide a certain mood. I like to share positive memories. I use coastal elements in my compositions to tell my stories in different ways. Some of pieces indicate specific places, while others hint at familiar place with dreamy twists. Overall, I want my pieces to be relatable. I want to provide a sense of peacefulness, yet a little drama as nature tends to show sometimes. I want viewers to feel that sense of adventure and exploration.
