Humble is an understatement. Accolades, attention and praise account for 0.0% of his reasoning for creating photographs. He has no problem accepting criticism, but compliments make him uncomfortable*. The only person he tries to impress is himself. “I don’t really consider myself an artist” is a common phrase for Andrew and could likely find itself etched on his headstone one day, but his work viciously refutes his story.
