Pete is from northern New Hampshire working out of Kittery Point. He grew up in the white mountains and previously worked as a forest ranger. His focus is on liminal spaces of recognizable local scenery using a minimal palette. The observer's invited to recognize a familiar scene through a lens of radiant colors, strong lines and fluid motion. The hope is to revive a brief memory of joy and sense of reverence for everyday scenery.
