She likes to portray these subjects in an expressionistic color manner. BIO: Each one of us has his or her own way of capturing the external world.Debra Grubbs began painting in watercolors while studying with Corey Staid in Andover,Massachusetts as a teenager. She studied with a variety of other artists after moving to California. While attending Las Positas College in Livermore, California,she painted primarily in acrylics and watercolor, receiving a more structured, formal training, eventually receiving a Degree in Fine Arts, emphasis in painting. Debra was Director of Visual Arts for a program called "FAME" for the Livermore Public School system before moving back to New England. In New Hampshire and Mass. she has been teacher at the Currier Muesiem of art Center and the East Colonly gallery of Art. Where she taught Watercolor and various of Workshops, including Collage,Encusic Wax painting and Watercolor Mono-type. Recently,Debra's art was spotlighted on TV's "NEW HAMPSHIRE CHRONICLE" featuring the Cultural Trolley Night in Manchester, NH.
