My jewelry designs have an emphasis on ocean/beach themes and my unique specialty is jewelry made from Salisbury Beach stones. Materials I love to work with are: beach stones, freshwater pearls, recycled glass, art glass, pewter, and sparkly components. Additionally, I make small ceramic trinket/jewelry dishes and small trays and candle holders embellished with beach stones.
I have always loved creating and discovered that I am inspired by the colors and textures of nature that I find in the forest, at the beach and in the ocean. I learned the art of jewelry making in college and by working with goldsmiths on Martha's Vineyard and in Boston. I believe that the jewelry we wear is an extension of ourselves and expresses to others, "This is me".
