My hand crafted in Vermont jewelry includes; Single stitch macrame bracelets and necklaces handwoven on a simple loom. I use fair trade gemstones and fossils and wax coated string in my original micro macrame design.
Using skills I learned in classes at League of New Hampshire Craftsmen I create wire wrapped ( fair trade) gemstone and fossil earrings and pendants.
I learned the art of micro macrame 20 years ago while living and traveling in Mexico and Guatemala, Nicaragua and Peru. I continue to purchase the gemstones and fossils I incorporate into my designs from small family lapidarists that I met in my travels. I then learned the art of wire wrapping to create earrings and pendants as well using these beautiful natural materials.
I have been making and selling my jewelry at craft fairs in Vermont and New Hampshire for many years. All of my designs are original.
