I make hypoallergenic gemstone jewelry and my goal is to make jewelry more accessible for people with sensory issues and metal allergies. I make sensory-friendly silk necklaces, rings, and earrings with surgical steel (no green skin, no tarnishing). The rings are all adjustable which is perfect for gift giving! I also make shark tooth earrings using fossilized shark teeth that I find myself on beaches and rivers and use epoxy resin to set them onto surgical steel posts. At markets and festivals I do fittings and make custom necklaces on the spot, which is a great opportunity to really engage with people and create a special memory.
My name is Terah and TT's Trinkets is my tiny business based in Atlanta. I have been operating for 3 years and in 2024 started traveling on the East Coast to participate in a greater range of festivals. My favorite part of my business is engaging with people and fitting them for a custom necklace. It is so fulfilling to watch people pick out a gemstone that they love and the joy they express when I make the necklace the exact length that they like.
