Upcycled one of a kind earrings made from recycled antique, decorative tins
I have always loved playing with color and different mediums. Years ago I started cutting jewelry out of tins that I grew up with. ( now antiques). Now I use hand, metal presses, as well as free hand cuts on tins from the last 100 years which ends up being an endless color palette.
I am a physician working in Portland, Maine. In my spare time I have always made time for making art. For years, I participated in craft fairs in Bangor, Maine, where I raised my family, designing and selling hand knit hats with proceeds, going to the Wounded Warrior project and the international Red Cross. In my spare time I hike kayak, read and knit.
