Each piece of jewelry at Kris Lee begins with hand-selected, untreated, natural gemstone or pearl chosen for its uniqueness and rarity. Working with a variety of precious metals, one of a kind pieces are handcrafted to celebrate each stone’s natural radiance. Each design is made to hold meaning - a reminder that we are connected to the earth, to one another, and to the moments that shape us.
The inspiration behind Kris Lee started with my passion for natural, untreated, earth mined gemstones and pearls from around the world. Each one of a kind piece begins with a hand-selected gem / pearl that I have chosen for its uniqueness, cut, color, locality and brilliance. I use a variety of precious metals - solid gold, 14k gold filled, 22k vermeil, and sterling silver, that I often mix in my pieces for a unique esthetic. I handcraft using multiple techniques such as fine wire work, silk-knotting, and welding.
