My work is inspired by the insects and plants in my pollinator garden, crafted through traditional silversmith hammer forming techniques, by handcrafting jewelry in the fine metals of sterling silver, gold, copper and brass, I mean to honor the heritage of the craft. The meticulous methods of forming, chasing and repousse, forging, and fabrication allow me to create durable pieces that serve as both wearable art and a reminder of the natural world’s significance.
