Pressed flower lampshades, hand stamped garden markers, handmade sparkly watercolor paint sets, pottery, and cyanotype/watercolor greeting cards.
For my pressed flower lampshades, I grow all of the flowers in my garden and then press them slowly over 4-6 weeks to best preserve the natural colors. For my handmade watercolors, I combine my own watercolor binder recipe with sourced cosmetic grade mica pigments to make high-quality paint sets that are a favorite for both kids and adults. I also use flowers from my garden to make my cyanotype cards and to make special varieties of watercolors (turning the flowers into a pigment, and then turning that pigment into paint)
I am a multi-media artist (based in Rye, NH) who is always experimenting with new methods and trying new techniques. My work is rooted in a deep love for flowers, a passion for gardening, and the joy of bright colors.
Through my pieces, I create art that can be appreciated every day: lampshades that preserve memories of summer even on the darkest winter days, watercolors that bring natural sparkle to life for all to enjoy, and cards that are affordable and appreciated by all.
