I work with polymer clay using a technique called "millefiori caning". Millefiori is an Italian word that translates to "a thousand flowers" and refers to complex patterns made with this technique. After blending colors, layering and manipulating the clay, paper thin slices reveal a pattern that is one-of-a-kind. The cane can never truly be replicated. Slices are placed on just about anything you can imagine! I specialize in clay covered glassware, bowls, and flatware. My creations are fun yet functional and add color to any room in your house. I live in and create my art in the beautiful state of Vermont. Using polymer clay, I cover all kinds of glass, stainless steel and wood. My best sellers are wine glasses, soap dispensers, salt and pepper shakers bowls, serving spoons and vases.
