Rockwood Studios creates handmade, functional pottery designed for everyday use. Each piece is individually handcrafted, with a focus on both beauty and practicality. My work includes mugs, straw cups, noodle bowls, serving pieces, sponge holders, sugar keepers, other unique utilitarian pottery.
I am a professional potter in Bennington, Vermont. I have owned Rockwood Studios for the last six years and have collectively 12 years of pottery making. I absolutely love what I do, the process, the excitement I feel throwing, glazing and firing a piece of clay to create a unique piece of functional art. I make a variety of items, including but not limited to mugs, bowls, sponge holders, berry bowls, utensil holders, dinnerware, soap dishes and chip and dip sets. Each piece is food safe, microwave and dishwasher safe. To hold it is to love it.
