Hedgehog Belly is small collection of infant & children's clothing designed in and ethically produced in Massachusetts. Hedgehog Belly is comprised of a carefully curated selection of high quality fabrics in unique colors and prints, mixed with simple styles, and a little bit of whimsy - to create clothing that will last and that both kids and adults will love.
We offer:
- infant & kids pants, dresses and tops
- womens lounge pants (& sometimes other styles!)
- a small colllection of curated accessories & tidbits for kiddos.
Isabel spent a decade in high-end corporate design, designing childrenswear for Marc Jacobs in New York and Burberry in London before becoming a mother and starting Hedgehog Belly. Her corporate experience, life in different cities and escapades with her spunky 8 year old, give her the first hand experience and inspiration she draws upon to create the Hedgehog Belly collection.
Hedgehog Belly has grown a lot over the years since it's conception - starting as all being made in a home studio to production with several contract sewists and small sample rooms in MA. Isabel is committed to being a part of the slow clothing movement - incorporating ethical production, and keeping manufacturing as local as possible.
