Muriel's is a slow fashion knitwear brand for those who care about where their garments come from and how they are made. We create timeless styles using only responsibly sourced fibers, including New England wool & alpaca, hemp, & organic & recycled cotton.
We're a mother/son team who started this business to support local sheep farms, which were struggling to find a viable market for their wool. We use other fibers so our customers have something to wear in the warmer months but remain committed to natural, earth-friendly yarns. Cyrus designs each garment using a computer software and then programs his wholegarment digital knitting machines to knit them in his basement. Laura and a small team hand finish the garments and ensure quality control.
