All of the things I sell are fabric which I have hand ice-dyed myself in my kitchen at home. Some of the items I plan to sell are: tapestries, socks, caftans, caftan minis, harem pants, tshirts of all sizes ranging from infant to 3X (larger if I'm able to find and dye in time), tank tops, onesies, unitards, dresses, jumpers, buff/gaiters, sweatsuits, bandanas, and more.
Born on Cape Cod, I have lived here my whole life. I have always been drawn to the arts and have loved creating through tying and dying, drawing, portrait painting, sculpting, welding, expressive dancing, singing and so much more. People, connecting and unity have always been of utmost interest to me, so for a few years I truly loved working as a driver, bringing people to and from their Cape destinations and beyond. It was not until I home birthed my fifth baby that I decided to enter this new stage of life as a textile artisan, Amitola Tie Dyes, and LOVE it. My process is long - approximately 72 hours for each piece (sometimes much more), but worth it to me. I hope to bring a smile to your face with the energy, love, and light poured into every work of wearable art I offer to you.
