I started painting wood Santas and Snowmen and gave them as gifts. My friends loved them and suggested I make them for sale.
Several years ago I read an interesting article about painted gourds. So we planted our first crop of hard shell gourds.
After I painted one, I was hooked.
I love the variety of sizes and shapes, that makes each one, a one of a kind. While I still love sewing and i still paint wood ornaments, painting hard shell gourds are my passion .
