I make baskets, wall hangings and ornaments using a triaxial weave.
The triaxial weave has weavers in three directions and is sometimes called Mad Weave. This weave creates a 3D optical illusion of cubes. I use either ribbon or metals (copper, brass, zinc) to create my baskets. By varying the position of colored weavers, different patterns can be achieved.
