My work largely consists of decorative, modern wood items; I create each item myself using a combination of wood burning, engraving, wood finish, and paint. The majority of my inventory consists of coasters - made from birch rounds (harvested from fallen trees), maple, walnut, and leopard wood. In addition to coasters, I also make jewelry boxes, bookmarks, ornaments, pet treat jars, and wall art (all wood).
My education and early career were both in architecture and I have since transitioned to a career in marketing, specializing in nonprofit fundraising. In my free time I have always loved creating things - drawing, working with wood, and experimenting with classic mediums and modern designs. I was born and raised in Massachusetts and currently live in New Hampshire with my husband and two small dogs.
