My passion is quilting.
I make quilts, table toppers/runners/mats, potholders/trivets, containers/bags, totes, wall/door hangings/flags, pillows. I am able to personalize and create logos, plus a variety of smaller sewn items.
Baby items (bibs, changing pads, burp cloths, teethers and a square crinkle toy)
Aromatherapy heart eye pillows, insulated reversible cup koozies, bowl koozies, mug rugs/coasters, jar grip openers, dog crate mats, cat/dog toys, collars, wine sleeves, key rings.
I always thought quilts were beautiful. In 2022 I was given a quilt for a Birthday/Christmas present. The Pattern of the quilt was MoonGlow by Jenny Beyer. It was so beautiful, I asked my dear friend to show me how to make that. She said OK! We met weekly every Monday.
During my first lesson, I was filled with a mix of excitement and nervousness. I made a simple table topper, which eventually led me to create not just one, but three of them. The thrill of seeing my creations come to life was exhilarating, and soon I found myself impatiently yearning for more challenges. I decided to visit the local fabric store, where I discovered a vibrant pattern titled "Girls Love Pink." It was a striking throw made of black and white fabrics adorned with a splash of pink circles.
By the next Monday, I had diligently pieced together this new pattern with great enthusiasm and not having any idea what I was doing. I remember bringing it to show my dear friend and teacher, and the look of disbelief on her face was priceless. "I don't believe it," she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with joy. Her encouragement made me feel like a natural, igniting a newfound passion within me. After that, the rest is history; I dove headfirst into the world of quilting.
Though I have not been quilting long, I still consider myself fairly new to this craft.
Every product I create, I commit to from start to finish, pouring my heart and soul into each piece. I strive to pay meticulous attention to detail, sourcing the finest materials and color choices to create every piece.
When I stipple and finish the quilts, I stand at my Longarm machine, creating stitched patterns by my hand. My methods include free motion quilting, which allows me to express my creativity freely, while also employing rulers and pantographs to achieve the stitched
