I handcraft each apringz to create an item that is appealing, functional, and affordable. apringz are a unique product. apringz clip easily to a kitchen towel creating a handy and convenient apron or adult bib. Each apringz is comprised of two parts: the base clip and cord, and the design. I build each base using a variety of cord types, clips and then a magnet. The magnet allows the customer to store the apringz on a magnetic surface such as a refrigerator so that it is handy and convenient to use. I use several methods to create the apringz designs, including painting, computer design, stone setting, and more. My designs are begun with a vision, on customer requests and feedback, or with a simple phrase. The ultimate goal is a product that will be used frequently, is durable, and brings the customer pleasure. apringz are not a kit and not a buy/sell product. apringz are truly a unique, handcrafted item.
In addition to the individual apringz, we also sell an apringz gift set which includes the apringz and coordinated kitchen towels, all decoratively assembled.
It all started with my boys. We would arrive at home the same time, me from work and the boys from sports practice. Of course they were "starving" and I would start fixing dinner in my work clothes. Many stained and ruined shirts later, (and after trying aprons - they always seemed to be unavailable in the dirty clothes pile), apringz were developed. I have been making and selling apringz ever since.
