apringz are a unique and useful item. apringz quickly clip to a kitchen towel creating a handy and convenient apron or adult bib. I use several methods to create the apringz designs, including hand painting the cabochon with different paints and techniques (flooding, feathering, multiple layer, etc), using computer graphic software and professional grade printing on high lustre paper to create images for affixing to cabochons, setting high quality Czech rhinestones and other real stones, and more. I then build each apringz using cords coordinated with the design, hot knifing, crimping and gluing. Then each apringz is inspected for quality before I package every one. I design apringz based on current trends, customer requests and feedback, or even a simple phrase. I craft each apringz to create a product that is appealing, functional, and affordable. At this time, apringz are not available in stores or through other vendors. apringz are not a kit and not a buy/sell product. apringz are truly a unique, handcrafted item.
apringz began out of necessity. Coming home from work, my two sons were "starving" so I started fixing dinner right away. Then splat! drip! Next thing I knew my shirt was ruined. I didn't have an apron, kudos to those who use them but in my life, it is just something else to wash (and that's if I could even find it). So I tried a kitchen towel (one of those is always handy), but it kept falling off. So by trial and error (a lot of errors) apringz were created.
