Welcome to Salt and Branch! We are Melissa and Adam, partners in life and partners in business. Melissa grew up in rural Pennsylvania and moved to Boston for grad school at Boston College to study Counseling Psychology. Adam has always lived in Massachusetts and has a background in Human Services and a degree in Management. We share a love of nature, the beach, being active and helping others. This passion for helping others has led us to creating Salt and Branch. We started our business in 2020 with the goal of supporting small businesses and makers, buying local and American-made, supporting businesses who engage in fair trade practices and championing women-owned businesses. These values are still true to who we are. However, in 2021 we created our own line of soy candles and have found the reception to be overwhelmingly positive. We have enjoyed the creative process so much that we have decided to pivot to selling our own products exclusively. We believe in making quality candles that you can feel good about. Our candles are made with all natural soy wax and phthalate-free fragrance oils. They are free from dyes.
