The sawdust from my carvings is collected, sifted, and turned into homemade clay for whimsical creations.
Being artistic all my life, I had always been intrigued by chainsaw carvers. At the age of 50, I had the opportunity to learn from a local carver who sold bears along the highway in Washington State. I had never used a chainsaw in my life but caught on quickly.
