We craft potpourri of items: bangle bracelets, ottoman/serving trays, coasters, spice bowls, accessories or valet bowls & trays, grazing/brunch boards, centerpiece boards, candle holders, ornaments, wine charms, napkin rings, and small side tables.
Maison B creates unique burnt wood pieces using the traditional Japanese technique of Shou Sugi Ban (or Yakisugi), the art of preserving wood with fire.
We use propane torches to hand fire each piece and bring out different colors and textures in the wood. We use different hard and soft woods, including cedar, pine, maple, cherry, walnut, cypress, etc. and complete the process with a natural Tung Oil Finish.
