Wayne retired in 2020 from a 40 year career as a primary care physician on the North Shore. He had always wanted to try his hand at woodworking, but never had time while he was working. Over the past 5 years, he has pursued this interest and has become a committed and skilled woodworker. initially, all of his work went to our family and friends as gifts. The Drummer Boy craft fair was always a favorite of our family when we were vacationing at the Cape prior to our retiring here, and many years before Wayne became an artisan himself. Our 4 children are all grown and live off Cape with their own families. However, they are so proud and impressed with their Dad's new found skills. They were the ones who encouraged Wayne to share his work at Drummer Boy. The past three years at Drummer Boy have proved to be very joyful for the whole family. We all love seeing Wayne's accomplishments with wood being validated! We are all looking forward to supporting Wayne at Drummer Boy in August 2025.
