Captain Mike Orbe, Mass Maritime Grad & former instructor, is a professional mariner, marine life naturalist, woodworker, and artist. He has lived on Cape Cod most of his life and upholds a tradition of classic New England woodcarving using natural materials from start to finish. All pieces are hand carved and hand painted all the while paying close attention to every detail. He is also a former Charter Boat & Whale Watch Captain, avid fisherman and dory rower….. the sea, ships, and boats have been Mike’s life
