Most of my work includes small decorative pieces featuring crisp lines and delicate details, but I do make the occasional utility piece, such as a bowl, a box, or a platter. My approach to woodturning is both technical and creative. I like the fact that it requires skill. I’m motivated when there is a quality standard to be met. But the inspiration and the creativity, that comes from the wood itself. For me, woodturning is a passion -It challenges the technical side of my brain and provides a means of expression for the creative side. What more could I ask for?
I am an active member of the Cape Cod Woodturners, the Western Massachusetts Woodturners, and the American Association of Woodturners.
