I make Heirloom-quality Jigsaw Puzzles that will tickle your gray cells. Inspired by my grandfather's work a century ago, my puzzles offer a NEW twist. Other jigsaws reflect an image; these puzzles are about an idea, a bit of prose, or a witticism. From Hardwood laminates or solid Vermont Cherry, Maple, Pine, Walnut, and Ash, these beautiful puzzles will be cherished for generations.
My grandfather made wooden jigsaw puzzles and carvings and sold them out of the trunk of his car during the Great Depression. Today, they are cherished heirlooms. His work directly inspires my puzzles, but my new style makes them more challenging than conventional jigsaw puzzles. Grandpa’s recipe was to take a piece of wood, bring out the beauty, and give it a personality - that’ll be somebody’s heirloom. My finest puzzles have live-edge borders and are made by dragging a windfall log the right size out of the woods, milling it with a chain saw to prep it for the shop, then reworking it over and over again until it’s a beautiful sheet ready to become a puzzle. Pretty enough to hang up, but I expect you’ll find them entertaining enough to reassemble over and over with the entire family.
