Family owned Farm in South Glastonbury CT We raise annuals in our greenhouse starting in early spring, raising many hanging baskets of annuals and ever bearing strawberries, plus potted herbs, flowers and vegetables. We make farm made jams and pickles in our commercial kitchen using produce we have raised in our orchards. All items are picked fresh by us before preserving them. We make jams of all varieties such as Strawberry Rhubarb, Apple Pie and Blueberry. We also have spicy ones like Hot Damn Peach Jam, Raspberry Jalapeno and Pepper Jelly. We cram many flavors together like our Fruit of the Farm (Apples, Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries and Blackberries) and our Traffic Jam (Peaches, Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries and Blackberries) We preserve many veggies as well. Dill pickles, bread and butter, dilly beans, corn relish, pickled beets, asparagus, carrots and cabbage just to name a few. We make our own pies too from the fruit we grow and we make our own cookies!
We are 4th and 5th generation farmers. Started in 1911, we have been stewards of the land for all of our lives. We run a commercial bakery to produce jams, pickles, breads, cookies, pesto, pies, prepared meals and lunches. We also host 3 farm to table dinners each season. We have a 7,200 s.f. greenhouse where we start our field plants for the season and we grow annuals, vegetables and herbs to retail. We offer pick your own during the season at 2 locations and offer strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, peaches, plums and apples. Some seasons we offer cut your own flowers and PYO vegetables too. It depends on the amount of rain fall and the condition of the fields.
