Since 2010, Sarah Downs has participated in dozens of art and craft shows throughout New England, the Mid West, Mid Atlantic and Florida. Over the past 14 years, she has become highly proficient at the centuries-old form of mono printmaking called marbling, which is traditionally done on paper. She floats indelible acrylic inks on the surface of thickened water to create one-of-a-kind wearable works of art. Each piece is literally born on water!
