We are October Cult, a husband and wife team, along with our cats. We are Mixed-Media Collage & Fine Art Photography Artists. Our style of art is often described to be hauntingly beautiful with a romantic horror quality. We are heavily influenced by heavy metal and dark rock, which provides our artwork with an essence which takes visual art to a level of auditory experience.
We create 3-D, Mixed-Media Collages in Shadowbox Frames, and we call them Dream Boxes. We also create both Framed & unframed Photography. We shoot primarily moody, yet colorful, images.
We are Alexandra and Jeremiah. We met in Seattle, wed in New York City, and currently reside in Rhode Island. We live with our two cats. We love animals, art museums, concerts, good pizza, and peace and quiet. We need to do more traveling and don’t always get the opportunity as much as we’d like. That being said, we are adventurous spirits, and often find ourselves thinking of the next fun adventure that we could enjoy.
