semi-precious stone, shell, seaglass, fossil, etc. jewelry mounted in rhodium plate settings (doesn't tarnish).
Pendants,bracelets,necklaces and earrings.
Also I clean, mount in gift boxes and label mineral specimens of crystal, birthstones such as amethyst, fossils, etc. which I feel are very educational.
was a teenager in Ca. for 5 yrs. and my father and I would prospect for crystals, jasper, agates, and other semi-precious stones.
We would also go to the Pacific beaches and find jade, abalone shell and seaglass.
We polished these and mounted them in fabricated settings, wrapped them with wire or attached findings to produce pendants and earrings.
Back in N.Y. in h.s. I would do shows on weekends but after college I had different occupations like owning a clothing/jewelry store in Hanover,NH and then becoming a financial advisor(recently retired) for 35 years.
I enjoy traveling to craft shows now once again, interracting with people and displaying my jewelry and collectible mineral specimens.
