I hand make and paint metal art designs for your wall, inside or out, as well as free standing sculpture. I also create luminaries out of old sap buckets, design and build wearable metal art, and draw large scale chalkboard designs that are photographed and turned into blank note cards.
Rebecca Nase Chomyn is a Vermont native Metal artist. She earned a BFA in sculpture in NYC at Pratt Institute, then moved to northern CA for nearly a decade. There she worked as a metal fabricator for a high end industrial design company, for a sculpture foundation, and a private family. Rebecca moved back to Vermont in 2012, with her husband to raise their 2 kids. She has been fabricating beautiful hand cut and bent steel designs for over 25 years under Twisted Perception Metal Works. From flowers, to leaves, to states or words and beyond. The elegant swirling curls bring a touch of nature into your space, indoor or out. Some of the work is hand painted while others have a natural patina of raw steel. Rebecca takes a hard, generally thought of masculine material, and transforms it into a delicate, graceful piece of art.
