Courtney Richardson has been mesmerized by glass from a young age. Watching glass artists was the closest thing to actual magic that she had seen. She had the opportunity to study glass blowing at Kent State University in Ohio and after graduating, began to explore stained glass as well as those techniques did not require the amounts of heat that landlords tend to frown upon in their properties.
Her work is inspired by fantasy and whimsy, with touches of witchcraft, queerness, nature, and pop culture.
