We are AO Glass- the hottest spot in town! For nearly eighteen years, we've been a Burlington-based brand that specializes in creating handblown glassware. Anything from drinkware, tableware, commercial/custom lighting covers, and glass critters are in our realm. All of our products are inspired by traditional Scandinavian and Italian-American glassblowing aesthetics and techniques.
Our factory on Pine Street is also home to tovewear, a sustainably sourced, produced, and owned denim workwear brand.
My name is Rich Arentzen! I co-own/founded AO Glass with my wife, Tove Ohlander, making us the "AO" in "AO Glass." With our traditional Scandinavian and Italian-American backgrounds, we use historic glassblowing techniques to forge and design our incredible pieces. AO is proud to represent Burlington's creative economy with our widely-diverse and multi-faceted team. We also offer glassblowing classes for all experience levels- in efforts to share our passion and craft with our community. And since 2017, Tove has taken off with her sustainably-driven workwear brand. The garments were inspired by a need for transparency and healthier practices in the clothing industry. Tovewear represents eleven of the United Nation's sustainability goals for 2030 and continues to serve as a model brand through its organic roots.
