My canvas is wood and up cycled furniture.
I sand down the wood and apply acrylic paint to make the sand and wave design. Next, I apply a clear coat of table top epoxy to which I add the color mica powders and "magic dust" which gives the depth of the water and the sparkle.
Another clear coat of epoxy is poured on and when that is dry, I pour the white resin and blow the waves with a heat gun. A final layer of clear epoxy resin gives it a hard glass finish. Each piece is unique.
