All of my Scrimshaw is engraved entirely by hand and includes men’s and ladies’ jewelry, collectible display pieces, pocket knives, desk accessories, and more. My work is done on ancient Fossil Walrus and Mammoth ivory.
I am proud to say that in my entire career as a scrimshander, I have never sold a single piece of Elephant ivory. I have been doing Scrimshaw professionally for 50 years, and I still have a passion for doing every piece I create. I had a shop in Bar Harbor, the Scrimshaw Workshop, from 1977 until 2018.
