I specialize in fine-art coastal images, including impressionistic seascapes, traditional landscapes and scenics, night photography, abstracts and portraits of jellyfish and other sea life. I print and frame my own work using archival quality materials, including pigment inks that won't fade and 100% cotton rag papers.
A photographer for most of my life, I find coastal environments full of inspiration. The shifting light, sands, marshes, woodlands, harbors and wildlife- it's all magical at times and never gets old because it's always changing.
In addition to exhibiting my art work, I teach photography on Cape Cod and also lead workshops and tours in Maine and Iceland – places with their own magic. I've been a featured artist in Cape Cod Life magazine, and my images have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, the Guardian, Fodor's and many other outlets. I authored the photo book, Four Seasons of Cape Cod and have written many articles for the popular photography website, Petapixel.com.
Originally from New Jersey, I've been calling Cape Cod home for more than 20 years.
