Ashley McCarter is a North Shore–based artist whose love for the ocean was shaped by summers spent at Salisbury Beach State Reservation. Her work is inspired by coastal landscapes and a lifelong passion for creativity. Ashley earned her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and worked in healthcare before transitioning to pursue art full time. She began working with epoxy resin in 2018 and now specializes in ocean-inspired resin artwork, developed through years of experimentation and refinement. Her work reflects a deep connection to the sea, blending texture, movement, and color to capture the essence of coastal environments.
