Wheel thrown and hand built planters, min vases, flowers.
Born and raised on Long Island, NY, I earned my MSW from West Virginia
University and now run a private mental health practice in Barre, MA.
I've called Massachusetts home since 2003, settling in Orange in 2018.
My journey in art began in high school, inspired by an art teacher who
encouraged me to explore and provided the tools to experiment with
different forms and mediums. Creating something tangible—something I
can see, touch, and experience fully—has always been a driving force
in my life. Pottery first came into my life in 2013 with the purchase
of my first wheel—a moment of pure excitement for me. However,
frequent moves meant my wheel often stayed packed away. It wasn’t
until we found our "forever home," a 1910 house in Orange, that I
could fully dedicate myself to the craft. The arrival of my kiln
marked a turning point, and since 2020, I’ve been able to consistently
create and grow as a potter. Since then, I’ve been devoted to making
pottery, creating pieces that reflect my passion for the tactile and
functional beauty of clay.
