I make beach and animal themed prints inspired by life on the New England coast. Most of my work features scenes like seagulls, whales, beach cottages, and other coastal details that people connect with. All of my prints are 11x14, matted and ready to frame, and I also have some framed pieces available.
People often tell me my work makes them smile or reminds them of a favorite place or memory. I’ve had a great response at past shows, and I love hearing how people find meaning or joy in what I create.
Hi, I’m Liz Thigpen. I went to Boston University for Painting and Graphic Design. The majority of my career has been in advertising in the Boston area. Now I’m hanging out a small converted barn where I paint (all mediums), teach art classes, and work on anything creative that I can get my hands on including murals, children’s books, & anything graphic. I'm most recently focused on beach prints for New England towns and the feedback has been amazing.
