Butterfly Bakery of Vermont is a woman-owned company founded as a natural foods bakery in 2003 and has seen continued growth, diversifying our product offerings, and expanding our presence from farmers markets to global markets. In 2011, BBVT expanded our offerings to include value-added farm-to-fork hot sauces, and in 2022, we further solidified our commitment to the working landscape by acquiring the award-winning goat's milk caramel brand, Fat Toad Farm. All of our milk, maple, and produce are sourced directly from a network of small farms within 200 miles of our Barre, Vermont kitchen. Our commitment to small farms is about building the best flavor while growing foodshed resiliency and quality for years to come.
