With a curiosity for the sea, and the skill of lost wax casting, we turn natural items into high quality sterling silver and 14K gold jewelry.
Nature and nautically inspired designs in sterling and 14K gold: bracelets, earrings, pendants, rings, and necklaces from $20-$900.
Designs are conceptualized around a natural object or creature. A combination of sketching, molding, and carving in wax produces a model to prepare for casting. An investment mold is created around the wax model. The wax is burned out, leaving a cavity for metal to be poured in. Sterling silver or 14K gold grain is melted and poured in. Castings are cleaned, smoothed, bracelets assembled, and soldered. Stone settings are burred, seats cut, and gemstones securely set. Sterling wire is twisted and textured, cut to length, and formed on a mandrel. Fixtures are fashioned with an assortment of specialty pliers. A combination of tumbling and hand polishing provides the final finish.
