The process starts by harvesting the fresh herbs/plants either in my medicinal garden or around the state. To make my creams and salves I hand pick the flowers, berries, roots, or leaves from the plants/herbs and add them to oil. Weeks later the substance is strained leaving an oil which is used, along with a preparatory blend of other ingredients to make my products. Tinctures, known as “old medicine,” are made by adding the flowers, berries, roots, or leaves to Vodka or Brandy, which draws the healing properties out of the herb.
PRIM®(Pain Relief in Minutes ) is our number 1 selling cream, made with St. Johns Wort (a nervine), and Chaga mushroom. It really works in 3-5 minutes because it travels through the nervous system and attacks inflammation from the inside out. Other creams include 4c’s healing for rashes, eczema, psoriasis, bug bites, or acne. Jewelweed for poison ivy, Shingle Soother to eliminate burning and itching, along with face creams for rashes or rejuvenating the skin. We make different salves, 3cs for cuts and burns, Baby Butt Juice, for diaper rash, Soldiers Wound Wort for bleeding and NU-Nose, a product to heal dogs dry noses and hot spots. The tinctures can help build immune systems, fight infections, enhance positive moods, fungal/parasite cleanse, and lung support. Chaga tea is an important antioxidant and immune builder which is made by drying the mushroom, grinding it using a pestle and mortar, and placing it in a muslin bag, which can be added to a pot of water on the stove. (No CBD is used in any of our products.)
I have always had a love of plants ever since I was a young girl wild foraging with my grandmother for roots, berries, and leaves. Since then I have attended classes around the world on herbalism and am a certified reflexologists. I have 2 acres of land that I grow herbs on and love being in my shop making product.
